Massaging your abdominal region as part of your colon cleansing constipation remedy is also an exelent way to tone abdominal muscle tissue. You can do this massage with oil while lying on your bed, or as I do, during a shower, soaped up.
When you begin your colon massage begin on the right lower side of your abdomen, near your appendix. Make small circular movements slowly moving upward to the ribcage. Move across and down the left side - slowly- don't rush.
You must apply some pressure to the area you are massaging but not uncomfortable peressure. Start out with light pressure and gradually increase the pressure over the next few days as you stengthen.
Do this massage daily, for about 3 or 4 minutes a time. The circular motion will help tone the area and will help a lazy bowel move compacted fecal matter downward toward the anus.
Massaging in the apendix area helps to move any stagnant or impacted fecal matter which may be stuck there.
This daily massage will help any constipation and also enhance your general feeling of wellbeing.
As you massage your colon region, you might discover areas of slight or more severe pain. In regions which have light pain, the daily massage will most likely ease them and eliminate then altogether.
